Mauriello Tops Bristol Bash

The drivers and crews of the NASCAR iRacing.com Tour Modified class did not know what to expect when the haulers pulled into Thunder Valley for the first time in series history. The high banks of Bristol Motor Speedway played host to Round Eight of the 2011 Season One campaign for the ground-pounding sim racing beasts and as the record books will show, the competition was closely contested. A mix of veterans and new faces visited victory lane and even one former driver who showed muscle in previous Tour Modified races came back to flex some muscle in a series he calls home part-time in 2011.
