Difficulties securing a British Formula 3 date at the Nurburgring for 2011 meant the new FIA F3 International Trophy could not visit Silverstone in its inaugural season, British championship organisers have revealed. The original plan was for the F3 Euro Series' proposed September date at Silverstone to double up as a round of the new six-event 'world championship' for F3.
